Soot and smoke residue cleaning
Soot can settle on many different surfaces. We assess the material and buildup, test a small area, and show you what laser cleaning can accomplish on your surface before agreeing on the scope. Not every material or deposit responds the same way.
Based in Vinton, serving the Roanoke area and other Virginia job sites. Send a few photos and we will talk through whether this approach makes sense for your job.
Project
On this job, heavy soot had darkened the firebrick and surrounding masonry. A test patch established the cleaning approach before work continued across the affected area. The fireplace is one example of soot-removal work, not a promised result for other surfaces.

The clip shows equipment staged outside and the finished firebrick from this fireplace job. It does not show the laser operating. Press play to watch it.
Send photos of the soot-affected area, tell us what the surface is made of, and describe where the work would take place.
Materials and contamination vary. An inconspicuous test patch helps establish a cleaning method and the finish that is realistic for your surface.
We discuss the accessible areas, the result shown by the test patch, and the price before proceeding with the work.
Results depend on the surface, contamination, and access. We clean accessible surfaces; this is not chimney inspection or sweeping, fire-damage remediation, or repair work.
